Not sure where to start? Explore Camp is the perfect place to begin. Designed as a sampler of everything Elements Outdoors has to offer, this camp gives campers the chance to try a little bit of it all—movement, discovery, teamwork, creativity, and outdoor living.

Throughout the week, campers rotate through a wide variety of experiences. One day they might be navigating obstacle challenges or playing classic camp games, and the next they’re exploring the garden, learning how food grows, or investigating nature up close. Activities shift daily, keeping camp fresh, engaging, and full of surprises.

Explore Camp is rooted in curiosity and play. Campers are encouraged to try new things, discover what they enjoy, and build confidence as they move between different types of activities. Team games, hands-on projects, outdoor exploration, and creative challenges all come together in a balanced, joyful rhythm.

By the end of the week, campers leave with new skills, new friendships, and a clearer sense of what kinds of adventures they love most. Explore Camp is a fun, welcoming introduction to the spirit of Elements Outdoors—and often the start of many summers to come.

A camp-wide adventure day

What it is:
A camp-wide challenge completed in multi-age teams, where campers race across camp completing a variety of activities inspired by everything they explored throughout the week.

What it looks like:

• Traveling across camp with their team to complete the Race

• A mix of games, challenges, puzzles, and hands-on exploration

• A final celebration that wraps up the week and highlights teamwork, accomplishments, and fun!

Every journey has a starting point…

Base Camp is where campers learn the foundations of exploring the outdoors with confidence, curiosity, and care. Each day begins and ends at Base Camp, creating a familiar rhythm as campers head out on daily explorations across the over 20 acre property.

Throughout the week, campers hike trails, explore forests and fields, and learn how to move through the land with awareness. They practice reading trail signs, using maps and compasses, and navigating simple routes through hands-on games and challenges. Exploration is active and engaging—campers are walking, observing, problem-solving, and learning by doing.

Base Camp is also about learning how to adventure together. Campers work in groups, take turns leading, support one another on the trail, and reflect on their experiences when they return.

By the end of the week, campers leave Base Camp feeling capable and confident—ready to explore new places, work as a team, and carry their sense of adventure wherever they go.

• Traveling across the property with their team to complete the Expedition

• Navigation games, trail challenges, and group problem-solving

• Grande finale that celebrates growth, effort, and the week achievements

At Discovery Camp, campers dive into STEM-inspired (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) outdoor explorations that spark wonder and ignite creative thinking.

Each day begins with a big question or challenge — How does water shape the land? How do animals build shelters? What makes things move? Campers investigate these mysteries using hands-on experiments, nature-based engineering, artistic exploration, and real-world problem-solving.

They’ll build, test, tinker, sketch, observe, record, and redesign — just like scientists and inventors in the wild. One moment they will be constructing bridges over streams or designing nature-inspired tools, and the next they’re experimenting with pigments, sunlight, or simple machines.

Discovery Camp helps campers learn how to ask big questions, look closer, think deeper, and see the world with curious eyes.

At Adventure Camp, campers jump into dynamic outdoor experiences, as they navigate obstacle courses, balancing on slacklines, and transform challenges into opportunities for growth. 

Each day brings fresh opportunities for creativity and teamwork, from designing and building their own adventure courses to solving group puzzles and completing collaborative missions. Campers will develop agility, balance, and problem-solving skills as they conquer courses, take on exciting tasks, and work together to achieve their goals. 

The week wraps up with an epic adventure race across the property that showcases their skills learned over the week, celebrating their achievements, and highlights the friendships they’ve forged along the way. Get ready to dig in—literally! At Field to Fork Camp, campers will roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty in our market garden. From planting seeds to harvesting fresh produce, they’ll learn all about how food grows and the care it takes to bring it to the table.

This hands-on experience goes beyond gardening—it’s about understanding the importance of food security and becoming stewards of the land and resources around us. Campers will gain a deeper appreciation for the journey of food, all while having fun and connecting with nature.

The week wraps up with an exciting grand finale on Friday evening, where campers will prepare and serve a delicious, farm to table dinner for their families. It’s a celebration of their hard work, and the joy of sharing a meal made with love!

A special Friday evening event where campers showcase what they’ve grown and learned by preparing and serving a farm-to-table dinner for their families.

• Harvesting ingredients from the garden

• Preparing and serving a shared meal together

• A celebration of hard work, learning, and community connection to wrap up our week and Camp 2026!
