The Trip Experience

Days at Elements are shaped by movement, curiosity, and hands-on discovery. We aren’t just outdoors — we are a part of the landscape, exploring, creating, and growing with every step. These are the experiences woven into our day:

Discovery + Exploration

Kids follow their curiosity as they investigate trails, examine natural materials, and ask questions about the world around them. Each activity encourages hands-on learning—collecting, observing, testing, and trying new ideas in real time. It’s an active, child driven approach that builds confidence and a genuine love for exploring the outdoors.

Outdoor Adventure

Adventure days are full of energy, movement, and excitement — whether campers are climbing the obstacle courses, balancing on slacklines, or tackling nature-based challenges. Kids push their boundaries, find courage in the unknown, and make memories while discovering how fun being active outdoors can be.

Project Based Creations

Kids bring big ideas to life through hands-on building, designing, and creating with natural and reclaimed materials. Each project invites problem-solving, imagination, and collaboration as kids work through the full process—from concept to creation. These experiences empower kids to take pride in their work and think creatively.

Outdoors Skills

From building shelters to learning fire safety and wilderness navigation, kids develop real-life outdoor know-how that boosts independence and confidence. These skills help them feel more capable and resourceful as they take on adventures in the outdoors. Along the way, they learn how to read the land, make safe decisions, and move with awareness.

Farm to Table

Kids get their hands dirty planting, tending, and harvesting in the garden. Followed by cooking and eating food from the garden, getting to experience the full circle of regenerative farming. This process teaches them where food really comes from — and gives them pride in creating meals from earth to table.

Nature Connection

Kids spend time observing, identifying, and interacting with the natural world through hands-on exploration—studying plants, tracking weather, noticing wildlife, and learning how ecosystems work. They practice paying attention to the details around them and understanding their place in the landscape.

Team Building

Through group challenges, collaborative games, and shared missions, kids practice communication, cooperation, and leadership — all while building trust with new friends. These experiences teach kids how to work together, take responsibility, and support one another.

STEM

Kids become hands-on problem solvers as they investigate the wonders of nature through real-world science, engineering, and creative design challenges. From water filtration to testing ideas and experimenting with natural materials, learning feels like play—rooted in exploration, teamwork, and the land that inspires every project.

Free Choice

Each afternoon kids have the freedom to follow their own spark — whether that’s building forts, crafting in the imagination station, or exploring the woods, this open-ended time empowers kids to choose what feels meaningful to them and encourages independence, creativity, and self-discovery.
