The Tuck Shop offers simple, camper-approved treats that are easy to enjoy and just right for a mid-day refresh.
It’s a simple but meaningful part of the day that brings smiles, sparks connection, and adds a little extra joy to the camp rhythm.
-
Our Tuck Shop is open daily after lunch, giving campers the chance to choose from a selection of cold treats. A list of available tuck options will be shared with families closer to the start of camp.
All treats are $2, and families may preload a tuck tab through their CampBrain account at the beginning of the week. Tuck is optional—campers are also welcome to bring their own special snack if preferred.

Core Values
Our core values guide everything we do; shaping a camp environment that’s fun, meaningful, and transformative for every camper. We create a camp experience that stays with campers long after summer ends, giving them the tools and memories to thrive in all areas of life.
-
Adventure is woven into every moment at camp. Whether campers are navigating trails, tackling an obstacle course, or learning to build a fire, each activity is designed to spark curiosity and encourage boldness. We believe that adventure challenges kids to step outside their comfort zones, try new things, and discover their own bravery—all while having a blast in the great outdoors.
-
Camp is where friendships are formed and memories are made. Through teamwork, shared experiences, and group challenges, campers learn to build trust, communicate, and support one another. But connection goes beyond friendships—it’s also about connecting with nature and feeling a sense of belonging in the world around them. Camp becomes a second home, where every camper feels valued, supported, and part of something bigger.
-
Every challenge is an opportunity for growth. From learning new skills to embracing leadership roles, campers develop confidence, resilience, and a sense of accomplishment. Our camp fosters independence while providing a safe and supportive space for kids to grow into their best selves. We celebrate every milestone, big or small, because each step forward helps shape who they’ll become.

The village of Sydenham is 3km south of Elements Outdoors, with shops, a
grocery store and The Point Beach. Other suggestions would be the KP Trail, Gould Lake Conservation Area for a hike and swim or Frontenac Outfitters is 10 minutes north of us if you are looking for a rental to head out on the waterfor the day.
-
Unplugging from devices allows campers to connect with the world around them. It’s about the excitement of a real adventure, the reward of building a shelter with their own hands, and the laughter shared during a group challenge. Without screens, kids have the opportunity to immerse themselves in their surroundings. Giving room to cultivate meaning connections with others and with nature.
The Benefits of Unplugged Play
Creativity Comes Alive: Campers use their imagination to create, problem-solve, and explore. From designing obstacle courses to crafting unique projects, their ideas take centre stage.
Stronger Friendships: Campers engage face-to-face, building bonds through teamwork, shared challenges, and pure, unfiltered fun.
A Fresh Perspective: Campers discover the beauty of the world around them—whether it’s noticing the rustle of leaves, the buzz of a bee, or the glow of a campfire.
Moments That Matter
At camp, unplugged fun means campers are present in every moment—jumping into spontaneous games, getting lost in the joy of the outdoors, or sharing stories with friends over lunch. These moments of connection, laughter, and discovery become memories.
